Ida runs the Half Marathon 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

Last weekend, CM’s Ida completed the Flutter International Hospice Half Marathon in just 2 hours and 29 minutes. This was the events first year and took place in Ramsey, in the North of the island.

Ida raised £706.20 for Motiv8, an Isle of Man charity that aims for an island free the stigma and harm associated with alcohol, substance misuse, gambling and gaming. The charity’s mission statement is:

“To provide a service where individuals and families are supported and empowered to reduce the harm from alcohol, substance misuse, gambling and gaming.  We achieve this through early intervention, counselling, community services, education, research, treatment and rehabilitation.”
