Formerly known as Crowe Morgan, CM Partners Limited (CM) celebrated both its rebrand and 21 years in business with a reception at the Sefton Hotel in Douglas recently, where they were joined by 150 guests, including the Island’s new Chief Minister, Alfred Cannan MHK.

The firm launched in 2000 and has subsequently grown from its initial headcount of 15 staff to become the largest independent chartered accountancy practice in the Isle of Man, with 70 staff now employed at its offices in the heart of Douglas.

David Morgan, Director at CM Partners and one of the firm’s founders, said:

‘We sincerely thank our clients and staff for their unwavering support over the past 21 years. In many ways we are celebrating continuity. Although our name has changed, we pride ourselves on continuing to offer clients traditional values, a personal service, and tailor-made solutions.

‘Our relationships with other professionals have also been a key factor in our success and we continue to build close, effective networks we can rely on both on-Island and around the world.’

Amy Slee, Director, CM Partners, also addressed the reception, in particular highlighting the benefits of the CM Approach, the firm’s highly popular and successful training and development programme. She said:

‘The firm has always been acutely aware of the benefits of investing in our people and to that end are a committed as well as highly accredited training firm.  We currently have 30 trainees under training contracts across 3 different accounting qualifications, all benefiting from a dedicated, tailored training programme which also extends into leadership and management development.  As a result, we are confident that the future for accountancy in the Island, and particularly for CM, is very bright indeed.

‘Our new brand identity and website also reflect our commitment in continuing to deliver the very best service to clients and maintaining our reputation for excellence.’
