CMP continues to donate the proceeds collected from Dress Down Days to local charities, with the latest recipient being the British Red Cross – Ukraine Appeal.

Amie noted that the Ukraine Appeal are currently providing vital and lifesaving assistance in facilitating evacuation efforts of civilians, food/water/hygiene aid, mobile medical crews and hospital transportation, first aid training in metro stations and bomb shelters, blood donation, and emotional/educational support to those affected by the ongoing situation.

Amie further noted that whilst British Red Cross are most known for the vital work they do around the world in disaster support, they also provide vital assistance to those in need on a local level too. This local aid is in areas such as providing mobility aids, companionship for the lonely, helping build confidence with those suffering from mental health to return to full time employment, free mental health services and helping find missing family members displaced through war, natural disasters and migration.

Amie was thrilled to accept the donation of £500 on behalf of the charity confirming that it would be put towards assisting aid being provided to those impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine and helping prevent loss of life and long-term trauma.
