This week Crowe Morgan were delighted to donate proceeds of dress down day funds to another worthwhile local charity, Arlo’s’ Adventure.

Arlo’s Adventure was set up by Sarah Owen in memory of her baby son Arlo, who sadly passed away in 2016.

The aim of the charity is to assist Manx residents who require treatment in hospital in the United Kingdom, and help their family members, by meeting the costs of transport and accommodation for family members to visit them during their stay in hospital where such costs are not funded by any other body or organisation.

Arlo’s Adventure also helps family members to enjoy leisure activities whilst in the UK. This helps give the families a bit of ‘normality’ during difficult times.

Crowe Morgan chose to donate £500 to Arlo’s Adventure as it is a local charity that delivers an important service of raising awareness of the effects of the loss of a child or loss during a pregnancy, but also provides emotional and practical support to affected siblings, which is not offered elsewhere.

Sarah from Arlo’s Adventure said, ‘We are thrilled with the generous donation from the team at Crowe Morgan. Given the current environment, instead of the leisure activities for the families, the funds donated will be used to send care packages and cover transportation costs for Manx families who have had to go to the UK in these difficult times. Thank you so much for the kind donation.’
