Crowe Morgan continue to donate their Dress Down Day proceeds to local charities, with the latest recipient to be Alzheimer’s Society – Isle of Man.
Alzheimer’s Society – Isle of Man is a charity which aims to relieve and treat individuals on the Isle of Man suffering with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, provide support to their families and to help fund research to help in the fight against finding a possible cure or prevention of the disease.
Alzheimer’s Society – Isle of Man was suggested by the staff of Crowe Morgan as a worthwhile cause due to the invaluable work they do for the community due to the prevalence of this disease within the Island’s demographic, and how it has also touched families of some of our own members’ of staff, including Melissa.
Gemma Hughes was thrilled to accept the donation of £500 on behalf of the charity and noted that the donation will directly help to maintain and develop the services provided by Alzheimer’s Society on the Isle of Man, helping the charity to continue to deliver support, information and guidance to people affected by dementia and our wider communities across the island. Gemma noted that this would also assist in community dementia support services to provide people with dementia and their carer’s with valuable support throughout their whole dementia journey; and help raise awareness for our communities to become more dementia friendly so that that people can live well with dementia.
