David MorganFCA FCCA

David was born in Yorkshire and moved to the Isle of Man in 1969. He trained with a well-known firm of Chartered Accountants and qualified in 1976. He became a Partner in Fryers Bell & Co. Chartered Accountants in 1980. In October 2000 he formed CM with Michael Crowe.
In addition to his CM responsibilities, David is a highly-respected figure within the Island’s business community. He was involved for 10 years with Britannia International Limited, an Isle of Man-based bank, initially as a non-executive Director and then as Chairman. He is also a former Director of the Association of Corporate Service Providers and was lead liaison with various Isle of Man Government bodies regarding regulation within the financial services sector.
David is married with three children and five grandchildren. A keen sportsman, his interests include: competing in Classic Rallies in the UK and Europe, in either his MGB or Volvo Amazon; clay pigeon target shooting (he was part of the Isle of Man English Skeet Team for over 10 years); cycling and skiing.
He also sits on the Board of Isle of Man Sport, a body established by the Isle of Man Government to promote initiatives to support Island sporting organisations and to help talented Manx athletes to maximise their potential at a national and international level.
